You don’t need to book a place but you’ll want to book your cinema ticket

An event with Bristol Queer Cinema Club - we’ll take a stroll on the downs then go and see The Salt Path at the Scott Cinema, Westbury Park. You’ll need to book your own cinema ticket for the 7:30pm showing.

You’re welcome to come on the walk and not see the film, or come to the film and not on the walk.

Meeting time 6pm for a 6:15pm start. The film starts at 7.30pm.

Meeting point Meet at the Black Boy Hill bus stop A.

Difficulty Not challenging. Mostly flat and on paths and pavements. Relaxed pace. About 1 hour walking time.

Toilets There are public toilets at the start but can’t guarantee they’ll be open. Toilets at the cinema at the end.

Parking On street parking near the start point - keep an eye out for local restrictions.

Public transport Buses 1, 2, 3 from city centre. Train to Clifton Downs.

Access info The walk is some paved paths and dirt paths, fairly flat, no stiles. Can be altered to be wheelchair accessible, but the cinema showing is not wheelchair accessible. There is an audio description option for the film. You can find out more cinema accessibility information here.
