You do not need to book a place on this walk - just turn up at the meeting point and time.

Meeting time 12:00pm for a 12:15pm start.

Meeting point Meet outside St Mary’s Cemetery.

Terrain, difficultly and accessibility This walk is relatively short and flat. It is suitable for most fitness levels. The path is on fields and country roads. It may be muddy if it has been raining.

The total walking time is 1.5 hours. Not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.

Toilets There are no public toilets on the route.

Cafe/pub There are a few cafes in Thornbury for afterwards.

Food Bring your own packed lunch.

Public transport Get the T1 bus from the centre at 11:10am to Thornbury.

Parking Please allow time to find a spot and be mindful of local residents. There is street parking near the meeting point. There are also several paid car parks in Thornbury.

What to wear/bring Bring water. Wear comfortable shoes, layers and waterproofs/umbrella if it’s raining. We recommend long trousers for summer walks because of overgrown brambles and ticks.
