A Saturday seaside stroll with scenic woodland and coastal views.

You do not need to book a place on this walk - just turn up at the meeting point and time.

Meeting time 11:00am for an 11:10am start.

Meeting point Meet outside Weston-super-Mare train station.

Terrain, difficultly and accessibility This is a medium-length walk, with some steep and moderate hill climbs. Requires a moderate level of fitness. The terrain is a mix of woodland trails and pavement. It might be muddy, if it’s been raining.

The total walking time is 2.5 hours. Not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.

Toilets There are free toilets at the train station.

Cafe/pub No specific stop but plenty of choices for afterwards.

Lunch Bring your own packed lunch.

Parking There are several paid car parks near the train station. Please allow time to find a spot.

Public transport Get the 10:26am train from Bristol Temple Meads. You can also take the X1 bus at 9:50am from the centre.

Dogs Dogs are welcome on a lead.

What to wear/bring Bring water and some lunch and snacks. Wear comfortable shoes, layers and waterproofs if it’s raining. We recommend long trousers for summer walks because of overgrown brambles and ticks.
