You do not need to book a place on this walk - just turn up at the meeting point and time.

Meeting time 2:45 pm for a 3:00 pm start.

Meeting point Meet at Whiteshill Church bus stop.

Terrain, difficultly and accessibility This is a shorter walk that is suitable for most fitness levels and abilities. The route follows urban footpaths and river footpaths. It may be muddy if it has been raining.

The total walking time is 2 hours. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

Toilets You may be able to use the toilets at The Cross Hands.

Cafe/pub We’ll stop at The Cross Hands pub part way through the walk.

Food Bring your own snacks for the walk.

Parking There are some parking spaces near the start. Please allow time to find a space and be mindful of local residents.

Public transport Catch the Y1 at 2:20 pm from the centre. The bus runs every hour on the way back.

What to wear/bring Bring a torch and hi-vis clothing. Bring water. Wear comfortable shoes, layers and waterproofs/umbrella if it’s raining.
