Meeting time 10:50am for an 11am start. We will wait for the 10.22am train from Bristol if it is delayed.
Meeting point Meet outside Bradford-on-Avon train station. Or, meet outside Bristol Temple Meads at 10am to catch the 10.22am train to Bradford-on-Avon.
Difficulty Moderate. It’s 3hrs40 walking time. There’s a slightly steep ascent and slow incline at the start, then a steep descent about halfway, then mostly flat along canal paths the rest of the way.

Toilets Public toilets at the start and end of the route.
Cafe/pub We’ll go to the Canal Tavern or the Lock Inn Cafe afterwards.
Lunch stop Bring a packed lunch with you.
Public transport You can get the 10.22am train from Bristol Temple Meads (£14 return - please email queerhikingbristol@gmail.com if cost is a barrier and we might be able to help out). Regular trains back to Bristol.
Parking Zone B of the Train Station car park - £4.10 for 5 hours or £7.30 all day.

Dogs Dogs are welcome on the walk but it’s likely there will be livestock so they will need to be on a lead.
Access info The walk is on country paths, mostly through fields and gravel canal paths. There might be some stiles. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
