A walk up Knowle Hill for a view of the lake, followed by delicious chips!

You do not need to book a place on this walk - just turn up at the meeting point and time.

Meeting time 11:15am and for an 11:30am start.

Meeting point Outside Salt & Malt, Chew Valley Lake, BS40 8SZ.

Terrain, difficultly and accessibility This is a relatively easy walk but it does involve a gentle ascent. The total walking time is 1 hour 10 minutes. The terrain can be slippy and muddy. Not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.

Cafe/pub We’ll eat some chips at Salt & Malt afterwards.

Parking You can park at Salt & Malt, £2 for 2 hours or £4 all day.

Public transport Not really an option here - get on the rideshare Whatsapp group and find a lift!
