A classic walk through the countryside of the south Cotswolds

Meeting time 10:50am, to set off at 11am.

Meeting point Meet outside Holy Trinity Church, Doynton, BS30 5SU.

Difficulty Not super challenging but there’s some hilly bits and it’s 3 hours walking time.

Toilets There are no public toilets on route. There’s a pub at the end that may let you use the toilet.

Cafe/pub The Cross House, Doynton afterwards.

Parking There is free on street parking in the village, but there is limited space. Please leave plenty of time to find a spot and park mindfully of local residents.

Public transport Tricky for this one - find or offer a lift in the Rideshare Whatsapp group.

Dogs Dogs are welcome. There might be stiles that they need lifting over, and they will need to be on a lead as there might be livestock.

Access info Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. Mostly well defined footpaths and tracks, could get very muddy. There will be stiles and gates.

Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch, snacks, plenty of water and wear walking boots if you can. Waterproofs and layers always handy too!
