Meeting time 11:00am, to set off at 11:15am.

Meeting point Meet at Portway Park & Ride, by the bus stops.

Difficulty Not too challenging. About 2hr15 walking time, a couple of short, steep ascents and descents. Could be muddy or slippy.

Toilets There are public toilets at the start and end, and at the King’s Weston cafe.

Cafe/pub King’s Weston cafe, about two thirds of the way round.

Parking Free parking at Portway Park & Ride.

Public transport Bus number 9 from the city centre or get the 10:46am train to Portway Park & Ride from Bristol Temple Meads - also stops at Stapleton Road, Lawrence Hill, Montpelier, Redland, and Clifton Down. We’ll wait for this train to get in before we start.

Dogs Dogs are welcome. They will need to be on a lead, and you might need to carry them over stiles.

Access info Not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. Mostly woodland paths, pavements and walking tracks. Possibly stiles or gates.

Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch, snacks, plenty of water and wear walking boots if you can. Waterproofs and layers always handy too!
