Meeting point Meet outside The Bird pub, Saltford.

Difficulty Moderately challenging. There’s moderate ascent and one steep climb. 3 hours 40 walking time.

Toilets There are no public toilets en route, but there are cafes and pubs at the start and end you may be able to use. We’ll also make a cafe stop at Bath Soft Cheese where there are toilets (near the end).

Cafe/pub We’ll stop at Bath Soft Cheese for coffee/cake. Pubs in Saltford if you want a drink after.

Lunch Bring your own packed lunch.

Parking There’s on street parking in Saltford. Leave yourself enough time to find a spot.

Public transport X39 bus towards Bath Road from Bristol Bridge - Tyning Road stop.

Dogs Dogs are welcome, but need to be on a lead with livestock, and Bath Racecourse boundary.

Access info Some steps and a couple of gates, but mostly a long climb and descent. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
