A festive walk around lovely Goblin Combe and a massive lunch, hurray!
6 miles, 3 hours walking time
You’ll need to book a place on this walk - £5 deposit for your lunch, which comes off your bill at the end. If you want to come on the walk and not have lunch, there’s no need to book. Just be at the start time and place!
Meeting time Meet at 11am, to set off at 11:15am.
Meeting point Meet at the car park at Goblin Combe.
Difficulty Moderately challenging. A steep ascent at the start, and another smaller ascent, a long descent.

Lunch Lunch is booked for 3pm at the Star in Congresbury. We’ll be in touch to get your pre-order. Your ticket is your deposit, which comes off the meal at the end. You can find the menus here - £16.99 for 2 courses, £19.99 for 3 courses. Gluten free and vegan available.
Parking Free car park at Goblin Combe. If you can’t find a space here, you can try on this road. Leave enough time to find a space.
Public transport Get the X1 bus from Bristol City Centre to Cleeve.

Dogs Dogs are welcome on the walk and in the pub. We might encounter some goats, so they’ll need to be on a lead.
Access info Mostly forest paths, can be slippy when wet. We’re near the airport so there may be some loud noises from planes. Not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.
