A lovely stroll between Portishead lake and Portbury Wharf nature reserve.

You do not need to book a place on this walk - just turn up at the meeting point and time.

Meeting time 10:45am for an 11:00am start.

Meeting point Meet at Lakeside Cafe.

Terrain, difficultly and accessibility This is a longer walk but the route is mostly flat, apart from a hill at the beginning and end. The route follows urban footpaths, coastal footpaths and park footpaths. It may be muddy if it has been raining.

The total walking time is 3 hours. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

Toilets There are public toilets next to Lakeside Cafe.

Cafe/pub We’ll stop at Mokokos Bakery around lunchtime for snacks, coffee etc.

Food Bring your own packed lunch and snacks for the walk. The lunch stop will be next to Mokokos Bakery.

Parking There is lots of parking on the beachfront.

Public transport Catch the X4 bus at 9:40am from Bristol Bus station. Buses run every half hour on the way back.
