Have some quiet company on an evening stroll to Trooper’s Hill, with a chance to socialise afterwards

You don’t need to book a place on this walk
We’ll take a silent walk up to Trooper’s Hill, where we’ll stop for a snack/food break and people can chat if they want to. Then we’ll continue in silence to walk back to Church Road along the river and through Netham Park and head to Cherry Waves Vinyl, for some cake, chats and tunes for those who want to.
Meeting time 6pm, to set off at 6:15pm.
Meeting point Meet outside Cherry Waves Vinyl, 254 Church Rd, Bristol BS5 8AF.
Difficulty Not very challenging. A little ascent, mostly paths and pavement. Relaxed pace. About 1.5 hours walking time.

Toilets There are no public toilets on this route but is a toilet at Cherry Waves Vinyl you can use at the start and end.
Cafe/pub We’ll stop at Cherry Waves Vinyl at the end - BYO drink, we’ll provide some cake.
Parking On street parking in St George, check for local restrictions. Can be tricky to find a spot.
Public transport Buses from the centre - 42, 43, 45.

Access info Mostly pavement and paved paths. There’s one steep ascent and descent. Some parts of the plotted route may not be suitable for wheelchairs and buggies, but we can easily amend the route so it is all accessible. Unfortunately Cherry Waves Vinyl is not accessible for wheelchairs. Please get in touch if you have access needs and are planning to come.
