A spectacular walk through the Mendips, including Iron age forts and amazing views

Meeting time 10:20am, to set off at 10:30am.

Meeting point Meet outside St Mary’s Church, Langford.

Difficulty A challenging walk. A few steep and extended ascents and descents. Around 5 hours walking time.

Toilets There are some public toilets about three quarters of the way round.

Cafe/pub There’s a couple of pubs in Langford if people want a drink afterwards.

Lunch Bring your own packed lunch.

Parking On street in Langford, free. Please be mindful of local residents when parking and allow extra time to find a spot.

Public transport Get the U2 Unibus from City Centre at 9am towards Langford and get off at St Mary’s Gardens.

Dogs Dogs are welcome. There might be stiles to carry them over, and livestock so they’ll need to be on a lead.

Access info Mostly natural and gravel paths, could be muddy. There might be stiles. Not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.
