Time for a Welcome Walk! If you’ve never been along before, this is the walk for you. Regulars also welcome.

5.5 miles, 4 hours

We’ll start at Ashton Court, walk over to Abbot’s Pool and back again. Then we’ll have a picnic/head to the cafe - depends on the weather!

Meeting time 10:45am for a 11am start.

Meeting point Outside the Cafe at Ashton Court mansion.

Difficulty Not super challenging. There’s a steep ascent to start with, then some undulating and a steep descent at the end. About 2.5 hours walking time.

Toilets Public toilets at the start and end.

Cafe/pub We’ll either have a picnic or go to the cafe after (dependent on the weather).

Lunch stop Bring a packed lunch/picnic.

Public transport Get the X1, X4 or X6 from the centre.

Parking Ashton Court Mansion car park, £3 for 5 hours.

Access info The walk is on woodland paths, and the beginning part of the walk has a steep incline. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
