4.6 miles, 2 hours walking time, 5.5 hours total.

You need a ticket for this event.

Meeting time 10am, to set off at 10:15am.

Meeting point Meet at Stanton Drew Village Hall, Stanton Drew.

About the event

We’ll be joined by Leni (they/he), a Bristol based yoga facilitator who will be interweaving yoga practices along the walk with the intention to support you to feel a sense of grounding, connection and presence with yourself, one another and the natural world around. The practices at the beginning and along the walk will involve guided meditation, gentle movement and breath work. All of these practices can be done standing, on the ground or even against a tree.

To conclude our walk, we will gather inside Stanton Drew Village Hall where Leni will guide you through a practice of yoga nidra or ‘yogic sleep’. This practice invites you into a liminal space between an awakened and sleeping state, a place of regeneration, relaxation and healing. You can practice on the floor or in a chair. We ask for you to bring along a mat, blanket(s) and cushions so you can be a cosy as possible. We will also bring some cosy things along and it can all be stored in the room prior to heading out on our walk.

About Leni

Leni Rolfe (they/he) is a Bristol based yoga facilitator & community tender, who creates spaces for embodied self-enquiry, ritual, radical rest, and collective care. Their offerings are rooted in the teachings of yoga as a practice of liberation and interwoven with the cyclical wisdom of the natural world. Leni is particularly interested in crafting spaces which meet the moment: emphasising accessibility & autonomy, supporting folks to listen & feel into the soft and courageous intelligence of the body. www.yogaloni.com / @yogaloni
