You do not need to book a place on this walk - just turn up at the meeting point and time.
Meeting time 11.15am and for an 11:30am start.
Meeting point Meet outside the Starbucks at the back of Bristol Temple Meads station (The Friary side).
End point Summerhill Road, St George.
Terrain, difficultly and accessibility The walk is mostly along city footpaths and pavements. There is some reasonably steep ascent and descent along the route but a large chunk is flat.
The total walking time is 3.5 hours.
The start or the walk is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies but it will become inaccessible about a third of the way through. You are welcome to join for the beginning part if you use a wheelchair.

Toilets There are no public toilets on the route, but there may be pubs or cafes on the route that may let you use the toilets with a purchase.

Lunch Bring your own packed lunch.
Parking As this is a one-way route, we recommend taking public transport.
Public transport Lots of buses got to Temple Meads or Old Market (10 minute walk), or local stopping train to Temple Meads.

What to wear/bring Bring water and some lunch and snacks. Wear comfortable shoes, layers and waterproofs if it’s raining. We recommend long trousers for summer walks because of overgrown brambles and ticks.
