A walk around some of the installations of Bristol Light Festival

You do not need to book a place on this walk - just turn up at the meeting point and time.

Meeting time 6:15pm to set off at 6:30pm

Meeting point Meet outside The Phoenix Pub on Champion Square (near Cabot Circus).

Terrain, difficultly and accessibility A flat, paved route, suitable for wheelchairs, buggies and walking aids. A short walk comparative to others we offer.

We will go at a gentle pace with lots of stops to look at installations. You need to be able to walk/move for 1 hour in total, with some standing around. You can leave the walk at any point, just let a leader know.

Bristol Light Festival can be busy, so there may be crowds and some might find it overstimulating.

Route We will share the exact route when we have more information on the festival.

Toilets There are toilets in Cabot Circus before the walk.

Cafe/pub We usually go and get come chips afterwards!

Parking Cabot Circus has a car park, or on street parking around Old Market.

Public transport Lots of buses in and around Bristol go to Cabot Circus or Old Market.

Dogs Dogs are welcome but may be overwhelmed.

What to wear/bring Bring a snack and water. Wear comfortable shoes, and waterproofs/umbrella if it’s raining. Wrap up warm, there’ll be standing around/waiting time.
